| Kids Church Positions Available: * 8am set up crew x 2 * 1st service sound technician * 2nd service sound technician * 1st service small group teachers (10-12 years & 6-9 years) x4 * 2nd service small group teachers (10-12 years & 6-9 years) x4 * Administrative asst (scheduling volunteers, training volunteers, purchasing, lesson planner, etc.) * After 2nd service tear down crew x4 * Flavor team (artists, designers, decorators who will create the flavor in the building will props & resources) * Check in techs 9am service x2 * Check in techs 10:45am service x2 * Game assistants 9am service (setting up & cleaning up) x2 * Game assistants 10:45am service (setting up & cleaning up) x2 * Undercover agents (sit in strategic locations amongst the children to help keep them focused on learning) x4 (per service) * Web designer * Graphic artist (fliers, promotions, etc.) * Creative planning team x5 * Smiley faced greeters x2 (per service) * Activity coordinator (plans fellowship events for all volunteer leaders, etc.) * Follow up team x2 (contact new visitors/absentees) We are inviting you to serve for 6 months. During that time, we encourage you to have trained up someone to take your spot. In other words, you can work your way out of a volunteer position by training up a replacement. | Current Kids Church Goals 1. By November 2009, have an assistant who handles training of all new volunteers and gets them connected in children's ministry. This person will schedule and oversee the volunteers. 2. By February 2010, split the age groups into 2 classes. One class for 6-9 year olds and one class for 10-12 year olds. 3. By February 2010, have a new leader for the 9am and 10:45am service who can run the whole service. 4. Have quarterly events/promotions that kids can invite their friends to. |
